Anderson Point is a county park in the south sound area near Olalla just south of Manchester. From the parking lot you have a downhill 3/4 mille walk on a well laid gravel bed path. It leads down to a sandy beach alongside some coastal growth that are home to birds, seals, crabs, and other wild life. It a perfect quick little beach stroll. You'll have a straight on view of Vashon Island and can expect to see plenty of boats cruising through the sound. Get there at the right time and you'll find beautiful sunsets and minimal crowds. (the parking lot will only hold about 15 or 20 cars) For a beach to yourself bundle up and make a trip on a sunny day in the winter.
