Mukilteo Lighthouse Park is an excellent beach park for the family visit if you're after some pretty views of the ferry dock, rocky beaches, wildlife, playground for the kids, and walking path for the dog or a PNW beach stroll. Beach fires are allowed inside existing fire pits. You'll find a large parking lot (pay to park) and a busy boat launch during fishing seasons. Just a small walk up the beach and you can also watch ferries come and go as they get people out to Whidbey Island. Not far from the city this is an excellent place to snag a sunset and enjoy a peaceful moment by the water.
